The responsibilities of teaching assistants are to assist teachers in handling teaching-related tasks and share duties. The following are the main tasks:
- Assist teachers with non-teaching duties

- Organize and implement extracurricular activities and student activities
- Provide homework assistance and student tutoring
- Handle related paperwork and administrative work

Piano Tutoring consists of three main parts: Supervision, Analyze, and Follow-up
The “supervision” part is the responsibility of the education center employees, and their work content is basically the same as the responsibilities of teaching assistants.
Preparation before class:
- Equipment: Turn on the piano and headphones, connect the cable between the tablet and the piano, etc. Prepare recording equipment (if recording is required).
- Documentary records: fill in the record form and prepare test questions
Practice period:
- Observe students practicing in class: Observe students following EXAMpiece™ Practice with the teaching materials and provide just the right assistance when necessary.
Follow-up service:
- Submit files: After students have practiced for the specified number of times, you can record videos for them, fill in test questions for them, and submit them to Harmonie.R after completion.
Other job responsibilities:
- Admissions
- Assist students or parents with Harmonie.R Online Shop register
- Explaining to students how to use EXAMpiece™
- Forward assessment reports to students or parents
- Assist students or parents to register for “Follow Up” services
It is not the responsibility of the education center staff to provide guidance on piano playing techniques.
Students participate in Piano Tutoring and mainly use EXAMpiece™ professional exam practice materials to assist them during practice. This material already includes practice key points, techniques and procedures. Students can achieve practice results by purchasing the materials that require practice and practicing strictly according to the video process.
Therefore, education center staff do not need to have relevant music teaching experience to be qualified for the above job responsibilities.
